Pope, other religious leaders issue pre-COP26 appeal on climate change

* Appeal calls for net-zero carbon emissions as soon as possible * Global temperature rise should be limited to 1.5 degrees C. * Pope is expected to attend start of Glasgow meeting COP26 must respond to "unprecedented ecological crisis"


Voice against climate change:

Inorder to save the planet Earth from abnormal environmental catastrophe, initiatives taken by Pope Francis (84), with other faith leaders of different spiritual path ways have made an effort on Monday, to address in the United Nation Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, next month.

The concept of 'Faith and Science' has brought the leading religious master's under one roof of COP26 for discussion. This meeting yo be held in Glasgow, shall provide hope for the future generations from the existing calamities faced today.

The appeal made together by the religious leaders representing 75% of world's population, handed over to the president of COP26 Alok Sharma by Italian foreign minister Luigi Di Mailo.
