F9, the ninth chapter in the Fast and Furious saga has grossed over $250 million worldwide even before being released in major markets like North America, India, Europe, and others.

The Action Adventure Thriller movie has collected more than 203 million dollars from China alone. The movie will be released on June 25th in India and the US.

The film brings back Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto. Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron also star in F9.

The official synopsis of F9 goes like this: 'Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, of the upcoming 'The Suicide Squad').

Justin Lin, the director of F9 has previously directed 4 other movies in the franchise. He was confirmed to be returning to direct F9 in October 2017 and has also written the screenplay with Daniel Casey.

The sequel to 'The Fate to The Furious'(2017), F9 has gotten mixed reviews. The Rotten Tomatoes' critics consensus reads: "F9 sends the franchise hurtling further over the top than ever, but director Justin Lin's knack for preposterous set pieces keeps the action humming." Comments like "Physics, gravity, and logic, in general, have long since been thrown out the window, but the jolts of pleasure keep coming," have also been posted on other sites.
